Hike to Tripod Rock

Recently I went on a hike with Dr. Noah’s Tribe.

We went up to Pyramid Mountain to see Tripod Rock, right here in the Garden State.  When most people think of New Jersey, I’m not sure what they think exactly, but I know they aren’t thinking of the beautiful and wondrous things the state has to offer.  This place is incredible.  There is a giant boulder sitting upon 3 small boulders.  It is said to have gotten there by glaciers, also known as something called glacial erratic.  It really is incredible to see.  There is a lot of history about this place, it’s even in Weird New Jersey!  Some say it was a sacred place to the Native Americans, and if you go there, your spiritual energy can be renewed.  It is also said that all of the stones in the area line up with the setting sun on the first day of summer, the summer solstice.  No matter what you believe in, it’s a beautiful place to go visit.
